Troy Buckner functions as a well-known private art dealer based in Southampton, New York. After founding Clark Fine Arts in 1998, Buckner exhibited artwork by a wide range of contemporary artists, many of whom lived and worked in the Hamptons in the summertime. At Clark Fine Arts, Troy Buckner garnered media attention with a distinctive Larry Rivers show called ?Lost Drawings from the 50s and 60s,? which uncovered a trove of portrait drawings from an early stage in the artist?s career. Working from a nearby studio on Long Island, John Chamberlain crafted sculptures with scrap and sheet metal for his exhibits, often using the twisted hunks of metal from junkyard automobiles. Troy Buckner has held an affinity for modern sculpture since his youth, when he spent hours watching his father cast bronze pieces at various local foundries.
